Peter Drury replaces Martin Tyler on Sky Sports

Totally unprofessional commentary, in the first two minutes of the game city strung about 30 passes before the pen was awarded, they talked constantly over the game not mentioning anything about the game they were commentating, I think the game is beyond them.

Thought I'd share my little message to SKY. u2us@skysports.com if anyone wants to join in:

Good morning SKY

Is there any chance Tyler can be banned from commentating on City games? Last night it at least appeared that someone has banned him from mentioning his beloved United 30 times every City match.

But he seems to have compensated for this with an almost constant drip of negative comments about City, especially how 'poor' our defence allegedly is. Niall Quinn - never a big City plugger despite his history - finds himself constantly having to counter this insane bias and must get as frustrated as the normal City fan. Tyler sees a match which everyone else seems to see as a good sound thrashing as an exhibition of City's problems.

If you Editors are in any doubt, just compare his screaming jubilation when covering a United goal with his resigned matter-of-factness when City score.

It's high time he was put out to grass or, at the very least, left to only commentate on his beloved team United, as he has lost any ability to be impartial he may or may not have had.

Yours sincerely

Amen to that.

Last night negredo tried to do a flick I think it may have been to zab but it never came off, and Tyler criticised him, yet how many times have you heard the prick cream his kicks if wheatabix head did something Similar
Arsewipe

His huge Sky pension must be dependent on his sycophantic rag arse licking right up to his last match before he is finally and thankfully put out to pasture at Talkshite
Sad old coont

TBH I didn't have much of a problem with him last night.

I thought during the first half he was exactly how I would want an English commentator to comment on an champions league game involving an english team. He was purring over Aguero, he pointed out we have some issues defensively (which is true) and he repeatedly said that our front 6 was dominating the game. It was the first time I can remember listening to him thinking 'this guy wants us to do well'.

He was not quite so complimentary in the second half but in fairness I thought we took our foot off the gas somewhat, especially after negredo made it 4. Yes there were references to Bayern, and to the rags, but playing devils advocate he has got to fill the airtime and it is not necessarily a sign of bias to say we got outplayed by Bayern.

Maybe the thing is that we have become so used to hearing him get more excited when the other side get a corner than he does when city score after a 20 pass move that we start to hear only the bad. Maybe also after the treatment Yaya got in Moscow he was particularly 'on-side' last night - it was a thought that crossed my mind when I was listening to the first half commentary.

Either way, I thought last night was a considerable improvement on other games where he has done the commentary recently.

You must havent been listening closely he constantly slated our defence even when we were 4 -1 up he was chirping on about our inept defending and concentration no problems up front but a better team today today would murder them.i go back to the bayern game when they were murdered.

It's the amount of references to the rags that fucking annoys me. He even sets himself up so he can talk about them while commentating on our game. At one point he even mentioned the colour of cska shirt being red so he could say there is another team playing in red in Spain tonight and started going on about the rags. At least Quinn was a bit more complimentary tonight and couldn't praise Sergio highly enough

My feelings exactly...Tyler must get bonus related pay regarding scum "plugs"

He simply cannot wait to talk about" them"..... continued brand awareness riding on the back of our success.

During city play when we are pinging the ball about all over the park Tyler rambles and mutters on like an old obnoxious tramp. Negative comments
are his forte. Summed him up going on about Frank Worthington...FFS get over it you old dinosaur.

His number 2 Quinn is almost as bad with his inane ramblings and mutterings..!

Occasionally compliments us through gritted teeth to "even it up".
