Football used to be enjoyable but when a player can be denied a goal because he was pointing to where he wanted the ball to be played or like tonight denied because an unseen hand can draw lines that are millimetres apart to dent a goal it is not enjoyable. After the penalty was refused I barely watched the match as it was pointless. it was if I knew they would not allow us to score another.Football used to be good Colin, now it feels like a product..!

He has just not when we’re playing, it’s never been a level playing field since the takeover,It just shows you the standard of Refs in This country. The clown was a premier league ref for ten years and he has no basic grasp of the laws of the game or how the games meant to be played.

Last ref to be asked to stand down by PL. Then went to the USA wherehe was binned of pretty sharpish. Tells you all need to know. As others have said, and myself previously, for a man in his position not to be aware of the laws of the game is criminal.

If the complete dickhead was honest and told the truth, that with penalties the VAR team just back the on field referee because he is one of them - then I could live with that.
However he goes into a long winded explanation of what the referee might or might not have seen and ends up sounding like a complete twat. Surely BT have executives who can see what a liability he is to their product as he just enforces the opinion we all have about the referees being not fit for purpose.
