PETITION RE NEWBIE WUMs

I'm pretty new, but I decided to read the forum for a week or so to get a feel of it before posting.

And rather than asking what the new kits look like, I posted what they look like...

I'll just say what I said earlier, there are about 1 zillion suggestions on how to improve things, most may not be possible, or would create a lot of work for Ric, or would cause ther kind of errors we occasionally get when busy.

Almost none of you that are complaining have ever run a forum, let alone one of the size of bluemoon, so you have no idea what is or isn't possible within the contraints of what Ric has to work with.

The best suggestion however is if you read a shite post or a WUM post then DO NOT REPLY, let it sink to where it deserves to be.

We as Mods are doing what we can with it all, and while it may seem not enough, believe us when we say without us it WOULD be MUCH worse.

Nobody is having a pop at the mods Cleavers, we are trying to help the site improve.
As far as the systems that I have seen mentioned, all seem quite possible in the code, and I haven't really seen any major 'out there' ones.

While it's easy to suggest not bumping a WUM post, users will because many don't think about what they are doing. It should be clear to most people that the mods we have are doing a good job, yet there are too many WUMs at the moment to deal with. We need an increase in mods before setting any user restrictions.
 
I was a guest of the forum for 6 months prior to registration, since then I have over 300 posts but have only ever started 1 thread. I always try to find a suitable thread to post in.
You learn a lot more about how the site functions by being a guest and I still don't know everything. I chose the site because its so easy to follow.
I'm sure when genuine fans register, they won't be put off by not being able to dive straight in and start a thread.
Thanks anyway to Ric and the Mods for a great forum and there is some thing to be said for the site slowing down as I can always log off and try later.

But that's tradition! I promise never to call anoyone a rag again! (unless they are one and then they will be recieving a swift boot off the forum, unless they are here for constructive reasons of course )

OK then 100% yes, SVENNIS the only one on the ball when it comes to weeding out RAGS.
