Had a couple of guys booked to do some wallpapering in the house a few years back
One of them turned up in a rags shirt... I told him he wasn't getting in unless he changed his top or covered it up
Bit of a Mexican standoff ended up with them buggering off without doing the work
Had to do it myself which took a lot longer and nowhere good enough for Her Maj. who went on about it that much had to call in someone else to 'do it right' - cost me a fortune but worth it though ;)

The best one I heard is obviously not true but it gets a big laugh when he tells it. My mad blue cousin is in the navy and he was at war somewhere and was a sniper. He always claims that he saw a local kid with a United shirt on and then he does an impression of pulling the trigger and says “I just couldn’t help it”.

More daft than petty, maybe. Years ago we were going to Italy and I booked the flights. There was a good cheap deal on U****d airlines and another on Alitalia that was nearly $200 more. We went on Alitalia. Missus still doesn't know.

I was at the swamp for a corporate event through work a few years back. In the toilets was a big mural of Bobby Charlton.

Might’ve missed the bog and accidentally splashed a bit of piss on it.

Was at a Christmas 'do' at theatre of hype about 30 years ago.
I'd had a few drinks beforehand and then went to the bar. Round was about £9.40 (told you it was a long time ago!!!) and said to the guy serving 'I'd say keep the change but you work for these lot. So I'll take my change.'

I still cringe at the thought!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was at small Gaz's gymnastics a few months ago, there is a upstairs bit where there are a couple of toilets for the gymnasts and some kitchen facilities for the coaches to make a brew and warm their dinner/tea up, small Gaz went for a wee and as I waited outside noticed a mug on the draining board with the rag badge on it unfortunately it ended up 'falling' into the bin with a small crash luckily nobody else was around at the time.

Just for clarity I washed my hands immediately after touching it
