Pep went to fucking Spain.
Minor offence, they got their slap on the wrist and Pep dropped a not so subtle public hint to make sure it doesn't happen again, which I suspect will be rather effective. Until it becomes a recurring problem I don't see the point in writing a bloddy thesis on it or making it out to be something bigger than it is, like I've seen some people already do today. My prediction is we'll all forget about it in two weeks' time.

But did he come back worse for wear? He went to honour one of our ex-players not for a jolly or a drinking session.
Hopefully Pep sorts them out as Grealish is a charismatic guy and young, british players will look up to him, you can't combine that with being unprofessional. This isn't Villa, if you want to make it at the top level you have to make sacrifices

It’s actually quite serious because they’ve gone out with the new Covid variant being out there and they could have come into training and passed it on to other players in the team. What if that had led to us dropping points?
Looks like they’ve at least tested negative but not great that they couldn’t follow team orders and have put things at risk with their behaviour.
