Handed out the most yellows of any Prem ref this season, but was strangely reluctant to show it tonight. I thought his showing tonight was not a typical Dowd performance.

If this doesn't draw the feathered "Moston rat" out, nothing will.

Re: Dowd

Looked to me like he's put on a few pound again, pork pies is his downfall lol

Re: Dowd

He's a fat fuck who looks as though he's about to keel over at any moment.

That Dowd is a shit ref as well.

Re: Dowd

By the standards we've seen this season, he wasn't THAT bad. Booked the first City player to do a silly foul (Fern pulling someone back?), while Mulumu got away with a clumsy tackle. But compared to Clattenberg at Candlefield or Mike Dean at Stamford bridge on saturday, it was an okay performance. Fat boy Phil did seem a bit pissed off at our late emergence for the second half though. And I don't think it's the first time we've been a bit tardy coming out after HT. this season, is it?

Re: Dowd

He had little to do to be fair. He did okay - the assistant in front of the CB stand didn't seem to understand the offside rule though.

Re: Dowd

As I said in another thread. Blame him for Silva's injury. Amalfitano went through or caught the back
of someones leg/ankle umpteen times without a booking. He was still at it after catching David.
I know it wasn't cynical, but he did catch him and was a foul from behind. Yet again.

Dowd never saw the incident. He was miles away and then came strolling over and asked Garcia what had happened. Think he was merely feigning interest, really, as he seemed to have an eye on the drinks bag. :-)
