As I said in another thread. Blame him for Silva's injury. Amalfitano went through or caught the back
of someones leg/ankle umpteen times without a booking. He was still at it after catching David.
I know it wasn't cynical, but he did catch him and was a foul from behind. Yet again.

Dowd never saw the incident. He was miles away and then came strolling over and asked Garcia what had happened. Think he was merely feigning interest, really, as he seemed to have an eye on the drinks bag. :-)

Yeah, I saw him nick one of our drinks. Hope somebody got the money off him before he fucked off back home. Not a bit of wonder we're strugglin' with FFPR.

We were singing that to a weat brom fan not the reff. The fan started to undo his belt and everyone around me got a bit nervous

No one was really to blame for it Ric, I think it was a foul that Dowd didn't see but the flaming linesman must have seen it he was keeping up with play. How he ever got to be a linesman is a mystery because he didn't seem to understand or even notice what was going on around him half the time!! No idea of the offside rule!


By the way did anyone else see the 4th official give something to one of our players in the first half, think it was Nasri but with everything else that happened later can't remember, to take over to Dowd who seemed to put part of it in his mouth and then the rest into his top pocket? The people on my row thought it was a tablet of some description.

I thought he had a very good game tonight, he tried to keep the game flowing, but I suppose not a very hard game to ref tonight, no difficult decisions to make or bad challenges!
