If He plays even a couple more games this season I reckon Gareth Southgate will be forced to pick him on account of the fact right now there is no English player better in his position. Southgate is not afraid to put these lads in doubt he will be able to resist the opportunity. Fair play to the bloke he knew just when to take the England job.

Don’t think he will. Think Southgate wants him at the U21’s finals this summer. He would start every game in the tournament which is quite high profile. Next season though he’ll be in there and not just a squad member; he’s that good he will be push for an automatic start.
