This **** keeps saying this, meanwhile phil is learning from the best manager and players in the world and racking up his medals, dave will play less and phil will p ay more, someone tweet that to the **** for me along with he has just signed a 6yr deal and is a mad city fan

Danny Mills: “But the only way he can establish himself for club and country is by playing regularly. Until then, we will not know how good he really is. The odd cameo is not good enough.”

Former Manchester City defender Danny Mills: “The worry is that it [signing Rodri] will push Phil Foden down the pecking order at City, that is my concern. Undoubtedly, he is an amazing young talent. Will he play enough games next season? That’s the big worry...”

“It may be one more holding season for him. He will have a decision to make in a year. He needs to play week in, week out to maximise his enormous potential. He’s a fabulous player, no question. He has shown he can do it...”

Spot on @karen7

Instead of moaning Mills should define his interpretation of 'regularly'.
City played 60 matches, 5,400 minutes plus injury time and extra time. How much does he want to give Foden (1,100 last season)?
Did he understand the concept of rotation while attacking any title available? He clearly didn't.

Mills also doesn't understand the concept of competition to improve squad performance.
If Foden turns out not being good enough he simply will not be good enough. He has to fight for his minutes like any other team mate.

Phil is taking a perfect development and we will have a lot of fantastic moments with him in sky blue.

Agree. Not only that a player of his age doesn't need to be playing 40 50 games a season.
How many young players do we see that play that many games become burnt out or injury prone still in their 20s.
Rooney a classic example who looked and played like an old man and was still in his 20s.

Rooney example more down to boozing and fags and shit eating than game time imo

Think that's to do with the granny he was banging..

Just because Rooney looks like a old vacuum cleaner, doesn't mean everybody else ends up the same.

Loads of players started playing regularly at Foden's age, including many of the best ones.

If he does well, play him more often, then rest him when he needs it.

Aguero made his pro debut at 15! He's certainly doing alright.
