There is no need to rush this guy, no matter the scale of his talent. Oxford are not a good barometer and Pep has already declared that he will get plenty of game time.
 
Think we have a gem on our hands with Phil, played very well and I think Pep is handling him correctly.
But what I loved was his goal and celebration, the game was won, it was added time, the joy on his face as he ran towards the City fans was great, he kissed the badge and he meant it, he’s living the dream that we all wished we could of done, love the fact that he is one of our own ( sorry Harry Kane ) but him and Diaz look the real deal.
 
That was special last night. Every aspect of his game was brilliant, for one so young he also played with such an impressive level of maturity.

I think he should be starting one of the Brighton or Hoffenheim games, maybe even both considering it's Liverpool after.

You can only take your chances, and he's certainly done that, now he deserves to be rewarded for it.
