Impressive considering Scholes didn't even make his debut until a few weeks shy of 20 years old.
So you’re Gundogan OUT then. :-)
Watched the game twice and yeah...it was Oxford but he looked outstanding.
Agreed.i checked out the match facts and to have over 70% possession with inexperienced youngsters ilke foden and Diazin the side is so impressive; regardless of the opposition. I noted that Silva snatched at the 1 goal scoring chance he had during the match whilst Foden,i think had 3.1 goal,1 excellent save, and another i havent seen yet which i here he could ,by all accounrs, have maybe done better with.Foden appears to have an abundance of skills, topped offf by a real eye for goal, noto mention a ferocious appetite for hard graft, and a real awareness of the importance of a disciplined approach to his game.I just watched the game back over breakfast and I feel the need to just remind everyone - he was playing with our most expensive signing ever, Mahrez, next to one of the best to ever play for City in David Silva, and he was simply better than them yesterday. There were half a dozen moments of genuine quality in the game and he came up with half of them.
You have to think starting against Brighton is on the cards now. Capitalise on the momentum this will give him, a home game against weaker opposition with a big CL on Wednesday to rest Silva for.
