The simple fact is no one should get paid millions for kicking a football or pretending to be someone else. But while people are prepared to pay then it is what it is.

As Mr Eastwood said deserve has nothing to do with it.

I dont disagree that the sums are obscene but its the entertainment industry at the end of the day.

He recently stayed at a friends private villa they rent in Tenerife and they and the staff couldn’t sing his praises highly enough for being a top lad who was down to earth.
