ive seen his statement on twitter and as apologies for it’s pretty fucking weak ! We have a few in our team who need outright binning off and some who need the riot act. We’re too fucking soft on this kind of thing and it shows on the pitch .
I support mcfc primarily and if any player takes the piss out of the club I love then I fully believe they need dealing with strongly.
These players are not objects the club owns, they are employees. There is some behaviour off field that the club might feel it has to be seen to do something about, but what Foden did is so far off that mark as to be barely worthy of comment.
I don't know about prurience, maybe we need to rediscover perspective.
