All from the era of apprentices cleaning boots etc, & all convicted criminals,
so please explain how going back 25 years will change things?
For me, problem is the expectation of people towards footballers because of the job they have, which is bullshit. They’re all humans, some will be decent people, some will be arseholes as with every profession in life, but every single one of them, bar none, will make mistakes, just like the rest of us.
All I’m really arsed about is what they do on a pitch, unless they’ve committed a crime against other people. In a utopia, everyone would be lovely & never do anything wrong or make mistakes, but we don’t live in a Utopia & never will.
Those who are still banging on about it need to take their head for a wobble as they sound as bad as the sports churnalists with their faux outrage of all things MCFC.
I actually find the All the outrage on here pretty weird. If I make a mistake at work, of which there’s been a few, I’ll hold my hands up & apologise, take my punishment, then expect it to never be brought up again other than in banter for being a dick.
The kid did wrong, he has apologised & been punished. Get over yerselves & give the kid a break
