We got Boateng for cheaper then that. Who is technically better and is in the German national team
who has been poor and will more than likely be sold to Bayern

That's rich coming from an Arsenal fan. Boateng hasn't had any luck in his first season so far. But from what I have seen I'm more than confident that he will do just fine if he does stay, you don't get in the German national team if your shit.

I agree, he's a big talent. But with City going for another CB, it shows there isnt much faith for him. You have already Richards and Zab as right backs. lescott, kompany and Kolo who available in september. So would the club be going for another CB if they had faith in him? We are not talking about an 18 year old for the futute, but a full international with world cup experience. Its fair to say he will be sold if another CB is signed

hahaha boateng been poor, hes barely played all season but still looks better than djourou, squillaci and kos- whatever he's called put together

Hugely disappointed with this news.

More of a disappointment than not getting Sanchez would be.

Hes absolutely perfect for us... direct cover for the two centre backs, can play defensive midfield, right age, English, pace and a football brain.

Baconface has done as good a deal as he did last year with Hernandez.

I can't believe the powers-that-be didn't even make an effort with this one.

Surely we don't think that Cahill is a better bet...

Once again, we have Boyata who has all the same prerequisites except he isn't English (but is homegrown). Have faith in your own, our transfer money can go towards players we need more*.

* If we sign Cahill, then I am wrong.

The thing is with Boateng is that he can play along the back four with no problem, which means he's a good utility player.
