I used to work in a call centre and I'm guessing they are on commission so lying and selling most expensive tickets. If you complain like I just did, they cut me off. Who do I raise this with?

That is a fucking disgrace. Can you get down in person and sort it out?
Mate in the queue has been there 2 hours already. I'm fuming fella, I want strangle the woman that cut me off.

Just thought I think City have allocated area of seats depending if your Cup direct scheme or Points. I friend of mine is at the ground and they have 2 queues 1 for points the other for cup direct. It seems that what you would class as the better seats are going to those with points. Not that I am complaining but it was strange when I rang up there was no £60 left. No I dont have 6,000 points but I took my get out of jail card now instead of waiting till Monday.

-- Sat Mar 26, 2011 10:49 am --

Happened to me for Wigan away once, was in the process of paying and she slammed the fucking phone down.

woman.

Cut off bang on 4 minutes for the 4th frickin time!

I work in a call centre and know exactly what's happening. There's triggers in place to do with the call volumes. Once there's a certain number in the queue they cut off any new calls from joining in the queue - that's when you get an engaged tone straight away. If you're in the queue and that other trigger is hit then if you end up waiting more than a set time (looks like 4 minutes in our cases) they cut you off too.

It's crap but most call centres in the UK do exactly the same. However, that's because most call centres aren't set up to deal with a large concentrated volume of calls over a short period. Ticket offices should be.

Bobbins.

(starts dialling again...)

Bit odd how they played the goals from Stamford Bridge last season in reverse order. Then a goal from Nedum, numerous Ireland mentions...

Think Bobby Manc needs to know about this! ;)
