Yep, a fair few of the Chaddy Branch who I was with on there, Ferny, Bernard Buckley, might be Sharon from the back and black lad Webby from Nottingham. A top weekend topped off by Frank Sidebotton gig in a bar !

helen turner made this trip, but by then was in a wheel-chair,sad to see.

gone are the days you,ll find me on a silly pre-season trip tho!!

There are some incredible pictures on that site of City fans rioting, invading the pitch and attacking the Luton players after that game which I never knew even existed. There are 30 or 40 of them. Totally amazing.

Bit of a sickener for me this one. My brother (RIP) is in the thick of the action in front of the Maine Stand there. Not seen a picture of him for a while and it's a bit of a shock. It was a horrible day that and emotions ran high.

To be honest, this thread has been brilliant and has hit home how we are all Blues together. The ones posted by Didsbury Dave at Coventry for instance - I recognise the face and its highly possible we could have exchanged pleasantries along the way as Blues.I remember being in that boozer the same day.

I am quite ashamed at some of the things I have put about DD and others on this forum in reflection. If I was at a match, I wouldn't even think of saying the same things to a fellow Blue.

At the end of the day we all want the same thing which is success for City though we may have differing opinions on the way we can achieve this.

Yes i think we can all get a bit heated up on a forum,i know i have,i do sometimes at the match,but as you said at the end of the day we are all Blues in it together,it is soon forgotten.Opinions are what make the world [ and forums] go around and we all are entitled to one,some will agree,some disagree,but that is what makes it interesting.Keep the faith Blues!

Correct mate, I was in the away seats - pretty much near this camera.
What a messy afternoon on the train home after the pub crawl ......
