munich was an in and outer, porto was 3 days :) and it was sunny.
Great time in and around the Oktoberfest in Munich, top public transport including the sardine tin train to the stadium rocking with City fans at one end and Munich at the other and City fans making the most of it after the game in the Irish/Aussie pub.
Porto was like a summers day in Feb, City fans everywhere eating, drinking and singing. All the recent Euro aways seem to have been sunny apart from Dortmund.
I'm still torn between the two of them but Porto probably swings it cos we won.

Me and goat867 off here were in that boozer as well in Munich just off the Marienplatz. City fans chucking beer mats at each other across the outside bit at the front was hilarious. Great trip despite the football.

I'm in the MUEN Newspaper as well, which is a much clearer picture for some reason.
Taken from the MUEN online.

Munich was a fantastic trip. Took this pic of 2 lads (they may be twins) about 4pm on day of match at the Beer Festival entrance. They were that pissed that whenever one of them let go of the post they fell over. They ended up with quite a crowd of Germans cheering them. The one in the City top attempted to stick 2 fingers up at them and promptly lost his balance and ended up on his arse. Still wonder if they made it to the match. Can't beat a European away trip!!!
