14 years old and spry as you’d like!

She’s a Bichon Cocker. Legs and face of a Cocker, but body of a Bichon. When we let her coat grow in the winter, the Cocker disappears and she looks all Bichon…apart from being a bit “tall!”

It's awful, isn't it? I took my best mate, Gracie, to the vet a month ago to go across the rainbow bridge. She was 16. It was time. She would have lived a while longer but it would be me being selfish. Her quality of life was poor.

I miss her loads still. I try to just remember her in good times and know I gave her the best life and companionship I could.

Thanks for all the messages blues it really helps thought I was quite hard but this has broke me , he was my first dog rescued him when he was 12 and I have had 5 wonderfull years with him times a healer

Just remind yourself that you've given him safety, love, comfort and reassurance when he needed it most. All the things he's probably never experienced before. It's hard to lose them, but being with you will have been the best years of his life.
