Aubameyang isn't going to play behind anyone. His game is all about being on the last defender's shoulder and his biggest weakness is his technical ability on the ball. Playing him behind Aguero would make no sense, he lacks all of the attributes you want in that position.
It's much more likely he's either shunted to the wing, like Pep has done before, or Aguero (who dropped deeper and deeper looking for the ball last season, and is miles better at dribbling and passing) plays off Aubameyang instead.
Aguero looked great when played a very similar role when partnered with Bony last season. He'd run the channels or drop deep and pick the ball up, look up and see....Bony miles away from the box and doing nothing good.
But his individual performances were great, and with a good strike partner it might actually be effective.
