Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

I am not sure what the price of a player is has any relevance to the team paying the price. If a manager wants a player and feels that player improves the team and the player can be bought then surely that is all that matters

The argument that this player has not set the worls alight is an odd one. He was the top scorer in a top league in not the best side so what more does he have to do?

Of course the price has a relevance, it is called FFP, and as much as all the kfa's said ffp wouldn't ever bite our arse, well it has

What I was saying if a player can be bought (that means within FFP and wages dont break wages structure and all the other factors that go into a transfer) then provided the player can be bought then he should be bought. What I am suggesting is why are we fans saying "I wouldnt pay that for player A" "Player B is worth that" what are we accountants or fans?

Glad that you agree and have now corrected your comment to accept that the price of a player is relevant

Cry should target him but not at any cost. I'd pay 60-65 maybe for Kroos and that's it.

Surprise - Troy Deene isn't worth 25mil.

We got Gundogan for 20 and he's leagues better.

Surprise, clubs look at what players in the PL are going for and if their players are better, raise the price. West Ham are priced out of Lacazette because their president saw how much Raheem went for and said Lacazette is worth more than that based off his contributions, then went on to have a similar season this season. So clubs are going to see what the Vardy's and Deeney's are going for and compare.
