With pep coming in and the squad needing an overhaul only the best and most affordable will do mate! Can't see pep putting up with any more Delphs or fernandos!

last season he played 44 games compared to the non injury prone Fernandinho and Hart with 46 and 47.Only one season has he played less than 40. Pep will have a plan for if Aguero gets injured and Iheanacho isn't available , but I is going to be asking other positions to move about, not spending tens of millions on somebody happy to hang about just in case. As posted above he didn't have more than one striker at Bayern and at Barca preferred Messi as a false 9.

Bayern still has Müller who can act as very successfully as a striker - and in the cup final 2014 Robben and Müller played striker.
And - until last season there still was Pizarro.
