Don't see where he fits in unless Sergio is off, but again can't see that.
But at least we could have a decent song for him:

At almost 70 M, no way is this a good deal. Auba is 28 in June.
This is the type of signing I would expect us to make a few years ago. Just a really expensive short term fix. We have evolved as a club.
Signing him on probably a 5 year contract on large wages is not a good move. Buying him and selling Aguero would be going backwards IMO.
Exactly. Spending that kind of money on a player in their late 20's just means we need to rebuild again in a few years. Also not sure if we need another forward/attacker....i guess we'll see in the summer if Pep is pursuing one.
I just think we need to build our forward line around these players: Sane,Aguero,Jesus, Sterling. It's those behind them that need reinforcement.
We arent putting it on a plate for sergio. why would he be any different?
If spending that sort of money try to get dybala
Will be a lot more than £70m though, given Juve sold Pogba for higher than that and attackers are generally more expensive.100% this. Auba is great but his pace will go soon. Dybala is at the start of his career
I'd have thought he'd have a few years left yet before losing his pace as long as he doesn't pick up too many injuries. Admittedly it might mean his sell on value wouldn't be great but if he can tear defences apart with his pace and finishing for three years and it gets us a title or two, who gives a shit?100% this.
