Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Would love Auba. Also would love if this is true because he seems to want to move away...but not sure Dortmund would want that.

Also seems that story is from Sky Germany

According to Sky Sports, City could make an offer of 70M € for Aubameyang

? Sky Sports ??

Dont believe it but more than happy if we did....If Sanchez is staying, I think this guy would be an excellent signing for us! Adds pace and height upfront and still only 28yrs old...

I'd see him more as a replacement for Mbappe. Out an out ST rather than a guy who can play on the wing. Sanchez could play wing or CF, however Auba could play out wide but think those days are behind him :D

If we must sign a forward this year, this is the guy I'd want if Sanchez doesn't work out.

I am extremely doubtful that Dortmund would sell Aubameyang. They have so much money from the Dembele sale in the bank right now, and in any case they at the best of times difficult to deal with.

Incase the Sanchez pursuit fails?

Can't see us going for both.

Would Dortmund really sell him after losing Dembele?
Also find it hard to believe we'd pursue a player that hasn't already been 'green lighted' by Pep.

EDIT:

I've read the article and apparently Auba would use the "how can Dembele be allowed to leave and me not" kinda deal. Which is pretty true, Auba been there 3-4 years and Dembele just one year.

Weren't Le10sport the ones that "broke" that false story that Pep was meeting Dembele in Manchester when he was actually in Spain at the time?

Their story comes from the Sky Sport one that broke earlier, guessing its Sky Germany. But in the article it also said "our sources" when talking about Auba wanting to come and it needing "Pep green light" not sure how reliable it is.

Scores a lot of goals but didn't he have one of the worst conversion rates in Europe, or am I just making that up? So would be more of the same

Ah right. Cheers for that. Maybe there is something to it then. Would be amazed if they let him go for less than 100m though he pretty much scores 80% of their goals and the window shuts next week. And if he is 100m id rather put that on the table for Sanchez.
