Pizarro vs. Sunderland - Match Compilation [VIDEO]

Pizarro is a gem, like the way he sprays the ball around, its a shame that he is 32, it would have been great to have got him when he was say 25 or 27..........

It's hard to find young players like him.... a younger version of Pizarro is just what we need for the long-term.

great to watch that was, well done whoever put that video together.

What a good little player he is, those passes, the cheeky corners, he slows down and thinks, creates space... Would we have got the draw without him ?

quality player. with even one decent wide man he'd look like a superstar, alas we don't have one.

has been fantastic at creating space for kolarov to hit first time balls in. a starter for me unless he can't go — barry's form has been dire for two months

*edit though barry should be in ahead of NDJ

The tea, for the run in is easy to pick.

Hart
Micah.Komps.Lescott.Clichy
Pizarro..Barry
Silva..Yaya..Nasri
Aguero.

Start with that 11, then sub depending on form and tiring. If Aguero seems off, pop in Tevez. If Silva seems tired, throw in Balotelli, If Pizarro tires, throw in Milner, or if you are behind, make it Dzeko, or if you are in front and want to shut it down, then give them some De Jong or Zabaletta. If Nasri waffles, Johnson in for a few dribbles, if Yaya looks ragged, get Milner in. If Micah hobbles throw in a Zab. If CLichy's crosses arent making it in, Pop a Kolarov.

But by and large, stay with that starting 11. WIthout knowledge of form, that is simply the most talented 11 we have above.

If Mancini doesn't start him, I think this guy would be perfect for a 60 minute substitution when the opposition's legs start to get a bit heavy.

He really made a difference in this game but it's hard to judge him because he played well in his last game for a short while then turned to shit & became an absolute liability.

I feel he's probably best used in small doses.
He did not become a liability. We did not give up any goals due to his defensive frailities. He played a tailored cornerkick that was untercepted and most of BM threw out their toys. He was taken out to get a striker on the field. No different than how other CMs get pulled to get more attacking players on the field. I don't see how a guy who had average 89% completion (in spite of always getting the ball forward constantly, and quickly gets accused of turning shit. He put in 2 of those same kicks perfectly in the last game. He didn't just lose accuracy after running around for 30 minutes.

FFS, I am older than him and certain I can last 45 minutes easy without losing my touch. The idea that a professional footballer tires after 30 minutes is laughable. By the way, he completed the 10 of his final 11 passes before he got pulled. So six out of the 7 missed place passes came in the first 40 minutes of the game. Are folks really arguing that their are professional players who tire after 25 minutes? Really!
