PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

im starting to get the feeling the PL didn't release this with Government grace to delay the white paper, but did it in spite of the Government forcing them to delay the paper. I think everyone might be very pissed of with the PL and a selection of CEOs here.

He did well but fuck me people are acting like he was Churchill or Luther King.

Hyperbole everywhere.

He did what a leader should do, face a hostile baying mob ( Which is what the press are) and defended our club with pride, passion and honour, making them look like what they are, a bunch of cunts. It was a brilliant performance and deserving of all the praise it got.

Hyperbole my arse!

We really shouldn't be looking this as a "We are fucked" as much as "Football is fucked", if a cartel chases the top club out of a competition it lessens the competition.

All other clubs would and should be thinking in secret that it could happen to them if they don't do as they are told.
With the exception of 2/3 clubs, the others aren't interested in being top clubs, they're just happy to trouser all the monies washing abut.

Never sure how Spurs find themselves in the mix when their referred to as one of the big 6 !!! Theve won one league title back in 1961, so far back there's not even any TV coverage of it, and one trophy this century, the league cup. They hang on to the shirt tails of the other 4 like hoping to get left over crumbs from a meal ! Until they built their new Palace they had a shit hole that held 38k and now have crippled the club with huge dept for the next 25 years ! Perhaps some of their fans could enlighten me why they even should be mentioned in the same breath as the others at least they all have had success throughout their histories!
They’ve also spent less years in the English top flight than we have. Joke club.

I like to think it's the prem league who have given in to the nasty nine after years of constant badgering for them to charge City for something. Maybe they have little evidence against us but felt under so much pressure to act. If it does go tits up for them, they can then say they tried. I know that's the dream scenario and I'm probably way off the mark
I don't really have a clue, but I don't think you're way off the mark.

They know their place anyway, a supporting act in the game. It's their fans that should be up in arms that their chairman voted in ffp in the premier league. In doing so it effectively kept them in the wilderness forever. They voted it in for their own selfish ends so they can use it as an excuse not to spend money.

I cant stop laughing at just how totally absurb and fucking useless the media are in this country.....

So, since the charges dropped on Monday the likes of sly sports news and all the scum MSM outlets have wrote and published and spoke on air (kaveh) how the rest of the clubs in the premier league want our club punished and booted out the league!

The press have wrote that - fact

Then Pep does his bloody brilliant presser and states that we know other clubs have been lobbying for the charges to be brought

And now this morning, I wake to see headlines from the same press (the same press that actually ran the headlines and articles that these clubs want us booted out and charges brought) - headlines that say the other clubs are now angry with Pep and consider his words being possibly libel with the clubs denying they wanted us punished!!!!!!

What the actual fuck - shouldnt the clubs then be actually angry with the press as they are the ones that made those allegations prior to Pep's presser yesterday

You cannot make it up

The more that this hits the headlines the more coverage it will get, the more coverage the more fans of other clubs will have a moment and start to think it's more than a bit odd.

The narrative is that City are cheats, when that focus shifts and looks at Chelsea and the rags spending or even if a club falls short and breaks one of their shifty rules the house of cards comes tumbling down.
