PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Mehh, You cant expect to put up a provocative banner (although classic and in keeping with City fans' sense of humour) like that without taking a bit back. The reaction in the press wasn't particularly negative last weekend, as far as I can tell, some would say positive, and it's taken someone five days to come up with this response, so I would say the banner was a success.
I would think it took a week because they’ll be damned careful what they write about him.
I’d say the editor had it proof read over and over and fact checked.

Maybe we’ve put manners on them.

The odds are no better for Premier league games than they are league 2 so they could win the same money betting on 2 crap teams and it would cost a lot less bribe money.
Not followed what the subject is about but, just in relation to above, I think any serious bet in lower league would set the bookie bells ringing very quickly - for instance there is currently £1.4m matched on betfair for our game today and, randomly picking the first match listed in L2, only £7k matched on Bristol v Burton...

It’s a fans forum mate. People are just after a bit of escapism and fun. I think we’ve had enough seriousness and boring shit over the last few weeks
Sometimes it’s hard to tell if people want reality, delusion or fantasy. Rightly or wrongly, I assume a thread specifically on these charges more inclined to reality.

You can't bet a lot of money on a league 2 game without the bookies getting suspicious, as very little normally gets bet on the games. Unusual betting patterns and they don't pay out.
I appreciate your info but if true i just don't see the PL backing down & exonerating the club of all wrongdoing. Can you imagine the questions being asked if the PL suddenly turn around & say we got it wrong & drop all of the 100+ charges.
Even if it was true, there’s no connection between City’s various charges and the actions of an individual at PigMol

A bit of all of the above mate ;)
Even IF these conspiracy theories are true, you’re right it wouldn’t have any effect on our case. But it would be great none the less

Why would they have to go into detail ? They can just simply say all charges are dropped with speaking to the club , both parties seem confident(us more so if we believe what the club has said) that they will win the case , someone is going to back down here , and I don’t see it being us. Unless there is a smoking gun element for the PL side , but I’m sure that if this is just about hacked emails , then City will have the real back up evidence that it’s a load of shit. It’s the geopolitical side of things that interests me , we get charged , the delayed white paper is coming out- and the elephant in the room about the ESL- which in my opinion is going to supercede the current CL format, something just isn’t right when you put those “coincidences” together. Anyway , Arsenal are flapping like a tap dancers fanny now in the race for the PL title- let’s cheer the boys to the three in a row!
