Going off on a slight tangent, but related topic - interesting article in the Guardian (I won't link to it), but it's basically about how social media is being manipulated by organisations for hire – I'm positive rival teams have been using this to smear us... I've reported shit loads of bots replying to City related tweets in the past week or so...View attachment 69788

Pretty sure there was some speculation that both the cult and Qatari interests were possibly involved in some bot campaigns against us a while back?

Of course, but a story will always come out. Certainly one that nobody would dare ignore.

The idea that any journalist or editor would overlook proof of corruption in the Premier League - the biggest sport story in this country in 20 years - because the victim of said corruption was Manchester City is one of the many completely unbeleiveable aspects of this story.

Another one might be why a concerned citizen turned whistleblower would send said "proof" to Manchester City, and not make a dozen copies and send it to every major news desk in the country.

Think its fair to say that the supposed VAR recording doesn't exist.

Emotions are high and trolls will take advantage of people who desperately want City to fight back and 'bring it all down.'

People need to accept the legal procedure will take a couple or so years and City will fight the charges as best as they can. I have every faith in the club defending themselves well and being cleared of the main allegations - but it will take a while.

Anything else of exposing widespread corruption and bringing pgmol and the pl down is purely fan fiction.

That’s fair but no one has definite proof. If someone had come on here and exposed Watergate for what it was at the outset after the initial break in, they’d have been shot down by the usual forum fascists. Whatever is going on there seems to be a real change in tone from the PL - they have gone quiet there’s neither a whisper or a leak - almost like the big announcement to discredit us was the front and centre part of their strategy.

Its on the person who wrote such an allegation to proove that the allegation is true. A fairly respected journalist by City offered to investigate and that person decided to expose DM's of the journalist attempting to help - because he seems against all 'the media.'

So it is my opinion, but one fair to say, that its conspiratorial nonsense. Though im sure he gave it in good faith I think the information is duff and one to have a laugh at blues expense.

I think the lack of new stories on the charges is because there isn't really anything new to say. Large parts of the media went all in and dumped every angle possible in 2 weeks. Plus they've moved on to the next news story which is Qatar buying utd.
