PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The only way I see it ending soon is a major climb down by the PL with us maybe accepting the non-cooperation charges and taking a relatively minor pinch on that.

Are you sensing the PL don’t have the appetite for the fight they picked?
Or the PL likely had no more evidence than what was already known ?

I know that may be more prudent, but I hope we don’t ‘take a pinch’ with non compliance if that’s the case, if they had no further evidence it really would seem like they tried to go on a fishing expedition, threw as much shit at us as possible in hope, as others have said, that’s caused enough damage and will likely be used by the usual suspects as us ‘getting away with it again’ ?

I was wondering exactly that. Its gone from a frenzy and mentioned at every possible moment by the media to a sudden blackout on it apart from the usual suspects.
I am not so sure and would think everything that could be said by media already has been.

I don't expect to hear much until the case is heard now and assume city legal team are just preparing their case against the allegations and PL likewise.

Ready to go or ready to fight and stay where we are?

Ready to go sounds like we are making preparations to go somewhere (championship?). I would rather see us stay were we are.

You don’t announce major infrastructure plans and building work on the North stand if your business is about to take a massive hit from these Premier League sanctions. Think that demonstrates that the club believes it will be successful in the outcome with the mood music from their lawyers.

It will never ever happen because even though we have Yank money involved, we don't have the sway the other American owners do, but I just wish somehow we could force the PL to investigate everyone else's historic accounts and business plans the way ours have. I completely understand why the Club would be 'non-compliant' when we were literally having to handover details on how we (CFG) planned to dominate Football, to people that had no rights to see such detail, especially when they were working multiple roles on boards of some of the Clubs who wanted us dead and buried, Uefa, The PL etc, the whole thing has been a stitch up from day one and I for one would be proud as hell if we just blow the whole system, anything we may have done will have been done by others, 100%.

Having read the Open Skies document (all 400+ pages of it due time and OCD in lockdown:) this is a red herring. Sheikh Mohammed was mentioned but not in the context you are alluding to there and nor was any other HH in reference to City.
It's water under the bridge now as the situation was clear during the CAs hearing that 'HH' wasn't Sheikh Mansour, but the Powerpoint presentation commissioned by MBZ and prepared by Booz Allen regarding the funding of Etihad, explicitly stated that the City sponsorship was funded by the Executive Council, which he chairs.

So you're right that there's no direct link to MBZ, but he couldn't have been unaware of the situation and quite probably expressly approved it. However I accept he probably didn't sign the cheques.

Yeah quite possibly, just hope its as TH said and doesn't drag on for years with it over our heads.

I see the fat twat from Spain, Tebas, has been sticking his nose into our affairs again. Saying that it is taking too long stating that we all know they are guilty of over a 100 charges. He doesn't want to hear our side, he admitted that, he wants us banned now. What a nasty piece of work he his.
Somebody needs to silence the fat toad up its been year after year he slates us. Needs to sort his own fucking league out and shut the fuck up.
