No doubt, but I also think he's jealous of the Premier League in general and how it's the most marketable league in the world.

He is jealous. The Premier League has all the best coaches, managers and the best players want to play here. That used to be La Liga.

I‘m sure he does. But, taking City down doesn’t further his cause any. Taking the PL down a peg, helps Spain hugely. I was reading some quotes by the agent of the Viking yesterday and one thing she said was that players ask for Madrid in Spain but when it comes to England, they ask for the Premier League. Many aren’t too bothered where, they just want to be here and play in it and that is what really worries Tebas.

The only way I see it ending soon is a major climb down by the PL with us maybe accepting the non-cooperation charges and taking a relatively minor pinch on that.

Tebas is just sticking his unwanted oar in because La Liga is completely on its arse. There aren't too many big names left there these days. There are bigger stars in France ffs.

You don’t announce major infrastructure plans and building work on the North stand if your business is about to take a massive hit from these Premier League sanctions. Think that demonstrates that the club believes it will be successful in the outcome with the mood music from their lawyers.

Not looking to put a dampener on things and I always appreciate TH's posts on here and the transfer forum, but, haven't we already put out our official club statement saying what TH has said today?

As in, as much as I admire TH's enthusiasm and positivity on the subject, there's no new information here in terms of developments. We said at the outset that we had irrefutable evidence which would prove our innocence, TH is saying that we consider some of the charges off the table. The PL didn't and obviously still don't, so it's just reaffirming our own club's confidence on the matter and not much else?
