PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Is any of this likely to come out in the press or will that only happen after both parties have met?
If this was made public by a club statement I think that would be a good thing.
FFS - It’s not a public football show!! It’s a serious legal issue & daily updates are not appropriate.

We’ll only hear when there’s a final result.

If that’s true and as daft as it sounds maybe the whole thing is set up to clear our names and for the premier league to get the red shite off their backs all in one go.
The premier league has made it clear we’ve not cooperated and we’ve not been forthcoming with our accounts.
They say look we’ve got all this evidence and we’ve charged them, only for us to say here you go, all explained, name cleared.
A smallish fine for not cooperating.
Not so much taking a pinch, more paying to speed up the process of clearing our name once and for all.
Everyone’s a winner…sort of
Either that or the premier league have thrown the book at us and we’ve gone ‘here you go we’ve been doing some digging of our own’ ; )
Not really arsed about the why’s of all this, I just wanted it put to bed once and for.
One way or another it will be.
Hopefully with us smoking a big fat cigar.

Trouble is - the red shite ARE the PL so if we win, the PL AND the red shite lose. So it’s going to be a fight

The PL has done what they wanted IMO, they have thrown dirt and it will stick even if we are fully cleared. All that other supporters at work are saying is that we have cheated and they have taken it hook line and sinker. These supporters range from rags to Wigan fans so it’s not even the usual suspects. I hope, if we get cleared we sue the Pl for damage to reputation and loss of income.
Fuck them, who cares, rival fans thought that before the der spiegel leaks, fans of other teams used to say Liverpool were cheats in 80s, Utd were cheaing in 90s, Chelsea were oil cheats in 00's...even Liverpool recent success had rival fans throwing inhaler rumours about...any team that is successful will get that.if anything if we get cleared we are one of the few teams that can say they are proven not to be cheating. Revel in that ammunition. Of course Rival fans will go back to brown paper envelope conspiracy theory's. I wouldnt care.

If we do get the charges dropped then people will say we paid the PL off.. If we do have irrefutable evidence that clears us of these charges then surely we have to go to court and finish this once and for all
A carefully, properly worded statement from the premier league would solve that imo.
The cas statement was left open to interpretation, namely time barred.

Hmmm. Sounds great. However the media would also have to be tackled, as the narrative would still be we got off on a technicality as we wouldn’t cooperate.
Therefore we must be guilty.

If we end up getting hit by non-cooperation charges only then I hope we get a decent PR company involved because, even though that's what happened at CAS, 99% of the public still think we were found guilty.
I think 99% of the public are cunts, so couldn’t care less what they think.
We’ve been hated from the day of the takeover and will continue to be hated regardless of the outcome of this.
We could produce indisputable evidence to clear our names and they just say we paid them off.
So fuck the lot of em!

Pretty much the only way to do that that I can think of would be a letter to each organisation advising them to wind their necks in and the recourse that would be employed afterwards.
Delooney looks to have been carpeted by his editors when he went off the rails about the Newcastle buyout - he suddenly stopped writing about it, so must have been called off.

The trick is to do it without appearing to counter fair statement.
