PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Some people are perpetually wearing tin foil hats.

To be fair, there are a lot of angry people on here at the moment, not surprisingly. My advice to fans of other clubs would be not to post for a while unless they actually know what they are talking about.

Had a Liverpool fan in work say am I ashamed of what the club did cheating etc

I went why should I be ashamed I'm a football /City fan I don't care about this I just want to watch my club play football , you should be more ashamed of your club due to its history.

Fucking hell it's like they've all come out from hiding now to jump on this

Ashamed? Shouldve asked him if he was ashamed when dippers hacked the city computers. Hacking is stealing , like thieves .

I'm probably being stupid but what do they mean by lack of out of time?

UEFA didn't look at evidence beyond a certain time as due to their rules they are time barred.

City feel this has left a cloud over them and they clearly think they can prove no wrong doing at all.

As a retired school teacher if a pupil fails to do a homework that you have asked for, you reprimand the pupil STRAIGHT AWAY….you do not wait until he’s not done the homework’s on eight / nine or ten consecutive occasions. Why have the PL waited until now ? if they knew way back why did they not reprimand us then ?

This is a proper hatchet job and looks to strip away everything City have achieved since 2008. The problem as I see it is even if we are eventually cleared wherever that may be, they will just come back again and again, the charges I can see are up to 2018 so they can then move onto post 2018 which is in effect what they have done.

the headline figure is over 100 rule breaks and that will be there for a generation, this isn’t going away. Can City sue the Premier League for their clear malicious intent? If that is an option I would prefer they do it now, let’s take the fight to them and even bankrupt them.
