He's getting desperate - totally holding out for this court case to prove him right - if it doesn't (as we all hope) then his meltdown will be EpicI’ve been wondering the same, especially after his latest tirade. I remember @tolmie's hairdoo saying City view him as a fairly harmless oddball so they don’t give him any attention.
Got to wonder if our lawyers will give Harris a tap on the shoulder soon though. He’s getting worse, which I didn’t think was possible.
Pretty sure that a Guardian journalist at some point (actually in the main paper, rather than twitter), suggested they had to be careful what they said about City as the lawyers WOULD be in touch.I’ve been wondering the same, especially after his latest tirade. You're spot on however sadly it's 2023 and these are the types who do fairly well for themselves. Clicks, attention, likes, "influencer", that's deemed a success these days.
This may be the case or not although I am with you on this.
Another option is that City are happy to continue temporarily extending the Etihad stadium sponsorship for another three years in order to secure a Mega Mega Mega* new sponsorship deal when the North-stand is complete to maximise it's revenue?
*AKA "Massive"
They won't because he's not worth the steam off our piss. It would give him the validation that he craves. He's a loon living in his mum's attic.
Unfortunately for him, he really isn’t doing very well for himself.
Its been reported he has quite serious mental health problems, and genuinely needs to access some help and support. He’s also had some very unfortunate luck in his personal life which I’m sure hasn’t helped with his general wellbeing.
He’s clearly a fantasist - which I suspect is linked to his problems - and tries to pass himself off as knowledgeable on a subject it’s painfully apparent he knows nothing about.
He publicly embarrassed himself by being called out by the High Courts for trying to pass himself off as an expert in football finance, when it was abundantly clear as soon as he opened his mouth on the subject that he had no idea what he was talking about - and showed a complete lack of even the most basic understanding on his supposed field of expertise.
He was essentially admonished for being a time waster - essentially like one of those charlatans who pretends they’re a qualified doctor and charges legal firms to be a specialist witness in court, when the reality is they’ve never even attended so much as a single lecture at medical school.
He’s a bedroom fantasist and self-proclaimed ‘specialist’ with absolutely no substance to back up the title he’s anointed himself with.
Undeterred, he continues to publicly embarrass himself on a regular basis by sharing his ‘insights’ through his website and social postings, demonstrating to anyone who interacts with him just how little he grasps about the basics of football finance.
He’s clearly got some very deep rooted psychological problems - so whilst it’s easy and very tempting to laugh at him and dismiss his mindless ramblings, he’s clearly got himself into a very sad situation and I hope he gets the help he needs.
Imagine running a site propagating the concept of sporting intelligence, being challenged with actual intelligence from someone actually intelligent, then responding twice with "Whatever...".These are things that Harris would know if he had any kind of genuine expertise in his professed specialist area, so his errors speak volumes. And he then goes on, later in the discussion, to retort in the manner shown in the tweet below. I'd regard those responses as lame even if they came from a child.
The whole dialogue between the two of them reads like exactly what it is: an exchange between, on the one hand, a serious professional person who's eminent in his field and knows what he's talking about (Stefan), and, on the other hand, a bad-faith fucking simpleton (Harris).
EDIT - To make crystal clear which is which, though I hope people realised anyway! ;)
A very good summary of a very sad situation.Unfortunately for him, he really isn’t doing very well for himself.

Hasn't Ewan whateverisnameis got a similar problems in his personal life? Strange how the WhatsApp crowd seem quite happy to team up with them when needed without considering what they're doing to them.Unfortunately for him, he really isn’t doing very well for himself.
