PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

after yesterday articles ive been thinking what articles are next and i think its gonna be how pep is leaving since he won everything and they already started asking him about it

And not to mention the ITV documentary (was it World in Action) about matchday tickets, that investigated United... matchday tickets were being sold from the cafe on the corner for over three times face value (was it Pete the Greek?) and the show basically said the club were actually giving them to the cafe... why sell a ticket for face value when you could sell them for 3x that and split it out, so the club were effectively selling the tickets for twice face value... that got swept under the carpet!
Ahh Worlld In Action when journalism was a noble profession and not populated by self righteous know nowt fuckwit hypocrites!

It looks highly likely now that either the rags or the dips will miss out on next years Champions League. Let's just hold that thought for one moment. In addition, we can look forward to that Thursday night "thrill"; that's when you unexpectedly see them playing the Champions of Malta in front of a hostile crowd of 17K.

Thank you HHSM for everything.

If it’s the dippers, they’re used to playing the likes of the champions of Malta from their early European successes ;-).

Saw something on twitter that actually makes sense for once:

I would argue though, that football was fatally wounded by clubs like United demanding all the gate receipts, and not giving away teams their share. The fatal blow was when they held the Football League to ransom to form the Premier League... Football became a business on that day... they are just pissed off now because it turns out our owners a better at business than them!

It is fascinating, how collectively our journos, or a good portion of the gutter one's, saw City annihilate RM (and in effect the order of football) and immediately took to twitter and their red media to remind everyone about the charges.

Imagine the pain of that night for them, seeing their worst nightmares come true.

None of what they write is pertinent, it won't be remembered. We won't be stripped of titles, we won't be kicked out of the PL, all their pain in vain. What a moment tbh. They hate us anyway, even without the charges they wouldn't accept what city have achieved. The cheating actually increases their pain. I really don't mind city getting a fine. It has a silver lining.

First it was investigation, then its charges, then it'll be how we bought it and got off on a technicality.. never forget that we are scum of the earth.

We'll never get a fair shake from that crowd that is paid to hate us!
