PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I don’t know to be fair, I’m not very clued up on Everton’s case. I would assume they’ve lost more than was allowed after into account the leeway given for Covid related losses, but I’m only guessing. Sure someone else with more knowledge will answer
None of it makes any sense.
Probably cos it’s a stacked deck to protect the cartel

There were a couple of documentaries made about it.

Kicking Off The Rise and Fall of the Super League - 1 hour programme made by BBC

Super League: The War for Football - 4-part that I think was shown on AppleTV

Thanks for the response, but they don't tell us anything we didn't already know ( I haven't seen the Apple TV one but form what I've read it doesn't appear to cover any new ground?)

The New York times seems to have done further reporting having seen the contracts signed by the clubs.

I can't find anything that clearly reports on the timeline of events, the main players behind it and how it took shape, when clubs were invited and what they knew of it, leading to the calamitous announcement and subsequent withdrawal.

There is anecdotal stuff around Real and Juventus planning this for 3 years (although Real has been wanting a Super League for much longer than that).

The Premier league and Masters have bitten off more than they can chew , quite sure at levels far above Masters there are movers and shakers in our government know the effect this will have on investment from our country by the United Arab Emirates if any of these charges stick.
Sport and politics should never mix but when your owner has just attended the coronation of the King it shows how important his standing is in relation to our countries economy.
Quite sure there will be someone from on high instructing Masters and the Premier league to cease this witch hunt there is too much at stake the government will not risk a massive investor to be ostracized.

My opinion is this ill thought out process the Premier league has initiated was always a non starter and was only driven by the hateful red 'istree clubs , Masters will regret these actions and hopefully the Rags & Dippers puppet pays with his job , and we get someone in to run the Premier league who represents all 20 clubs ,and not just the two main protaganists who are owned by yanks who's only intent is to screw as much profit from their clubs.

I remember Kaldoon saying in one of his end of season interviews something along the lines of the football world is a small one and we hear what goes on, sounds like we have been keeping our powder dry.
I guess the SIA have been busy since the charges were announced I do wonder if Paltini’s downfall was influenced by UEFA first charging of City with breaking FFP https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signals_Intelligence_Agency

They lost £371 over 3 year period £105 is allowed a special allowance was made for Covid and Everton claimed an offset of £170, the next highest was Arsenal with £86 Villa £56 biggest loss for any club was gate receipts so compared to Arsenal with a bigger ground and higher ticket prices soemthing doesn’t add up
