Despite the optimism I find it incredibly hard to believe that this KC, who by all accounts is a serious person, is going to waste 4 years of his time and stake his reputation on a bunch of trumped up charges against an opposition that's shown it is highly litigious.

98 bullshit charges that get knocked over in court doesn't just make him look bad, it would open up everyone involved to some very serious countersuits.

Did the KC do the investigation for the PL or is the head of the investigation the FA has requested? The independent panel as we've called it?

They didn't even do Soriano the courtesy of giving him the charges before giving them to the media and specifically to certain journalists. City have won 4 of the last 5 PL titles and that's how the league chose to handle it. That means we have absolutely no relationship of any real respect with the people running the league, and that's squarely at Soriano's door as he is the guy who sits in all those meetings.

When they throw 100+ charges at you its basically the same tactic as the the tax office use when they audit a company. They already know what the end result of the "investigation" will be even before it started, and just throw as many vague accusations against us as possible knowing it will be impossible for us to fully clear our name in all of them. We all know the only purpose of all this is to take City down, not make an unbiased investigation. This was always going to be the case in a racist and xenophobic country as England, zero chance any of this would have happened if our owners last name was "Smith". How many other clubs have they spent 4 years investigating until they find something? None.
Lets see what the end result is, but I guess we will see a massive point reduction taking us out of all European competitions for the next season. The massive damage to our brand is already done. Really hope City plan their revenge and sue everyone.

If Sheikh Mansour felt like topping up Mancini's or Yaya's salary by £5m per year, how does the PL have the ability to find out or prove it?

They could have emails from the leak discussing it, but they can't have any financial records which makes proving it impossible.

Because the Hateful Eight have demanded the PL go after City. I sense the PL don't want/need this, but if your "founding members" demand their competition back, what can the PL do?

If they piss off the red shirt mafia & they threaten to setup a new English Super League (Essentially the PL under new ownership/stewardship), how else could the PL react?

The PL have never been in such as strong position given what happened with the ESL. These clubs (ours included) thought they were all powerful. It took about 24 hours for that myth to be debunked. The PL have nothing to fear from these clubs, the clubs don’t have the power they thought they had. If the PL thought they couldn’t win this, I don’t believe any amount of pressure from United, Liverpool etc would make them do this.
