PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Maybe our co-operation hasn't been as complete as has been imagined, and some evidence has been kept back. Information and statements from sponsors and other externals, for example, which is the most compelling evidence, in fact. Evidence that the club feels that the PL didn't have the right to ask for, but which can be provided at the right time. Would explain the non-cooperation charge, why none of the underlying issues seem to have been cleared, and the number of alleged breaches. If the PL didn't get such compelling evidence they would have no option but to refer the alleged breaches to a disciplinary panel.

Just a guess.
To be honest mate what you have said has crossed my mind ?

...............
For all the talk on here of 'high bars', there is nothing to stop these ring-pieces delivering whatever verdict they see fit, and if they find us guilty, no-one but no-one will care two hoots about the process and lack of actual evidence, because the public has been conditioned into believing in our guilt. They tribunal might not be able to fudge its way into finding us guilty if our evidence is utterly overwhelming, but I have no faith in any marginal calls whatsoever. If they can possibly nobble us, then I have no doubt that they will. They've been commissioned for that very purpose.....
this is my concern

I want to be comforted by the well considered and experience based views I read on here - but that video must have taken a fair bit of money to put together - and it has been done for the purpose of continuing the conditioning the majority of fans I assume

It makes me feel that the PL are going to be forced by the red shirts to 'go for it' because - fuck it there is no appeal process

It will be just CITY fans screaming that it was unfair - all the conditioned people won't give a fuck

I think this is exactly what our tactic is. It worked v UEFA at CAS.

Dare I say that City and its owners are achieving their objectives despite the continuing media and PL rule changing.
I fear that complacency and even entitlement may take over should it be totally fair.

So let them do their worst because it brings out our best.

Just an opinion from an older City supporter than most on this Forum.
That's all very well but doesn't address my weariness regarding reading crap and negativity concerning City.

We were found not guilty in the uefa version of all this yet we're still guilty of that, and buying the CAS ruling afterwards!

Get used to it, it's tribalism at its greatest. But underneath it all they know they've seen the greatest football ever.

Except to say that in return you have a treble to be pleased with, our owners have financial rewards second to none and a season to look forward to.

Perhaps you are right and Pep should not have Catalysed our season and the team and fans would have had an indifferent season with Arsenal as champions?
Would our accusers have stopped their attacks and accusations maybe.
Unfortunately they have a habit of kicking a man when he is down so we all gelled together and showed them what City are made of.

Just my opinion but I know which I prefer.

But CAS is an independent organisation (in theory) while the PL can make it up as they go along. There is no appeal to an independent body if the PL acts against normal laws of justice.
So regardless of us producing “irrefutable evidence” the independent professional KCs on the panel will find us guilty anyway?

I doubt it.
We're all thinking like football fans, these people are professionals.

I just can't see k.c's leaving themselves open to having their professionalism and honesty questioned by blithely coming to a dodgy verdict.

WTF are you on about? I never said I'd have preferred it if Pep hadn't catalysed our season, or even galvanised our resolve, and I certainly don't think our accusers would have gone quiet had we failed. And I'm aware we won the treble as I saw most of it.
I said I was pissed off about the constant negativity when I should have been able to spend the summer reading about our successes.
