Under pressure from USA, we have been trying to persuade them for yonks. They go Yeah, Yeah, fuck off.I disagree, if we don’t like something then we lobby or interfere or find a way that encourages them to change their mind.
In other words the UK would act like Dippers & Arsenal.
Interference would cause no end of trouble. We even refused, if you remember, to interfere in Montserrat a few years ago when half the island disappeared under a lava flow. Interference costs money!
Maybe we bunged that island a few quid when they complained vociferously, I don’t remember.
