PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Overly harsh and pointless critique of a fellow blue simply fighting out corner.

He even states he doesn’t work in law and instead quotes a financial expert.

Might as well close down the thread if everyone’s being compared to a legal professional.
I suggested that a while ago. There’ll be no new information until we hear the result.

Stefan and Colin have both released the most concise breakdown of what has happened and what is likely to happen.

I’ve nothing against the bloke. I hope he earns enough to keep doing what he does, but it’s a slightly more informal, dumbed down version of what is already out there.

He’s said nothing that Stefan didn’t 6 months ago.

He brings a secondary school teacher approach to it, and a few bizarre analogies, but Stefan’s Spaces breakdown was far more insightful.
The only new element appears to be the suggestion that the PL will not be able to get away with accusing us of non-co-operation and allowing the smear to carry because the charges are too serious and have to be proven. That’s good news if true. The Pl can’t continue to hide behind a complicit media.

What I think it is is the difference between Micah and Neds; one is easy to follow and the other to make your brain think.

It may be "new" but I am not sure it makes much sense. It comes from the two Sheffield professors I suppose, quoted in the MEN. I wasn't sure what they meant by "non-cooperation won't be enough". Enough for who? Those clubs who want to "mutiny"? Not sure that is of any import. The process is in place, the panel will review each of the alleged breaches and pass judgment. Most likely to me the most serious charges won't be proven, some non-disclosures will, in their opinion, be proven, and very likely non-cooperation will be.

Yeah, although Stefan was initially shocked with the charges, if you remember, as they were basically accusing us of fraudulent accounting.

Therefore they’d either need a whistleblower or new evidence not seen at CAS.

The case isn’t with the PL anymore. They, like the rest of us, are waiting for the result of the appeal.

When the 115 charges are demolished the insistance of the red cartel premier league clubs pressure would have done its job , the jumped up charges may go away but the smear campaign will never stop , the media need the Rags & Dippers back at the top and will stoop to any levels to bring this about.
Its all part of being a supremely succesful and dominant club , jealousy and envy in abundance from plastic fans of these clubs , but what they are missing is the rapid progress and growth of City this really is unstoppable , we are now alongside the likes of Real , Barca , Bayern , Rags , Dippers in financial terms and far ahead on the field of play.
Success breeds hate and vitriol from your chllengers a small price to pay for halycon day we are enjoying , the 115 charges are a small bump in the road to our destiny , the best football club in the world , we have a song about it , a song we sang when we were in the third tier of football not that long ago.
