Here's a thought. The PL does not have the authority to determine whether a breach of it's rules is unlawful. Therefore under English law any of the alleged breaches pre February 2017 are time barred by virtue of them being more than six years from the date of action and not proven as unlawful? This wouldn't leave many allegations.
Also as far as I am aware FFP did not come into force in the PL until 2013/14 season? Hence ( notwithstanding time barring) this must surely act in City's favour should the Committee decide against the club on any allegations made prior to this date?
Unlawful ? FFP rules are not law ? Or are you saying because the allegations are about more than FFP accountancy and company processes fraud and the law they have no jurisdiction in fact the fact they are so serious helps us ?
