PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It's UK government officials in Abu Dhabi speaking to UK officials in the UK isn't it?
F.O. to Embassy: “Have a quiet word with UAE and see if they are concerned about charges against City.”
Embassy to F.O.:”Wilko.”
Embassy to F.O.:”UAE say they have £30 billion concern and trust that uk gov will have a quiet word with the independent panel. Also, they have a ton of dirt about the redshirts.”

So after reading most of the posters on here we will be found not guilty of all charges against us or we will. I personally believe we will win hands down or not. So which is it ?

Yeah, but if the Abu Dhabi Government contacted the British government, in order to influence an ongoing investigation or to make it go away, then that doesn't look very good, does it?

Especially if we are adamant that City are not state owned, so why is the Abu Dhabi government getting involved in a football matter?

If the intention was to have their day in court, you wouldn't be knocking on the door of number 10, as some people on here have mentioned, threatening to cancel Billions of investment.

If that is the case, then the charges have to have some merit.
An awful lot of ifs there.
I honestly can’t see how you jump to the conclusions you do as fact when you start out with an ‘if’ that didn’t happen as far as we know.

The Premier League are essentially accusing a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family of submitting fraudulent accounts over a prolonged period in the UK, something that is vehemently denied. Of course that is going to be brought up at a diplomatic level.
Made that point and not just the Abu Dhabi crew but all the world renowned business men who are on City’s board it ridiculous to suggest that these guys would risk their reputation to facilitate a few million £ There was a multi billion pound trade deal being negotiated at much the same time as the PL made these accusations
