PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

How can the PL recommend a punishment if the panel is independent?
It’s because the panel is independent that the PL suggest a punishment. This is like a claimant arguing what the quantum of a claim should be, IF the court sides with them. Or like a prosecution seeking a certain penalty IF the person is found guilty. Remember these cases are PL v [the club] in front of a third party IC - the PL are separate from the IC (in theory at least)

Not usually one for suggesting violence towards moronic ex-pros who get a hard-on trolling on social media.

But, Carragher I wouldn't step in if he was being stomped out by a baying crowd.

Horrible man, why didn't we get to hear about his show downs with Sky and the kids family he spat at?

Because its a private matter, just like it is between City and the PL

Beat United Sunday and just refuse any interviews to Sky by anyone until they get there staff in order ...

Simple
It’s the rules of the PL iirc that you can’t ban a media organisation.
Hence when Ferguson threw his toys out of his sons pram, the bbc still got access and interviews, but not with Ferguson.

Again iirc there are PL fines for blocking a media organisation access/interviews… whether these escalate unlimitedly with repeated infractions … I’d be happy to knock a few million off our bottom line to make some examples of them.

The Telegraph getting giddy. It's 'inconceivable' that we wouldn't receive a far more severe punishment than Everton might if found guilty. It references punishment up to and including expulsion from the PL. Obviously that is about a remote possibility as you can imagine but *if* it happened then the club is essentially homeless and then it would have to find a starting point that would accept us. On that basis Spitty is correct insomuch as the National League could be it. Should be fun :)

You would probably need a subscription but this is the article

Ahead of the Derby and City v red Scouse games, there's always an influx of negative news.

The media are complicit with not allowing clubs to focus on the game, memorials for Sir Bobby etc. They're too busy trying to stir emotions and create a toxic atmosphere, as is the Scouse and London-club-centric way

The fact Everton have been dealt with so swiftly only confirms that our charges are not straightforaward , if the Premier league had concrete evidence against us we would have been dealt with months ago , its not all about our quality legal team i am sure Everton have similar legal representation , its about evidence and proof and it looks lke the Premier league are struggling.
