PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

My main concern is that charges against Everton, and the threat by Leeds and another couple of relegated clubs to sue Everton or the PL, means it's more unlikely the PL will be allowed to let the charges against City sit in the corner and gather dust. I'm not suggesting we are guilty but that doesn't mean we won't be found guilty.

They were never going to let them lie, in fact it's out of their hands now (as they like to remind people). Everton's case won't affect the outcome of our case one whit.

I can guarantee that at least one knob head journo will ask Pep the question "Pep, what did you think of the two young fans who gave Sir Bobby a blah, blah, blah".
The question won't include "two young"

Pep needs a good brief on this one for him to go to war on the jounos who are shit stirring

Along the lines of, there is no excuse but Im not having the 99.9999999% of impeccable City fans given a negative label, every club in the world have some people who don't behave in the correct way. I have heard some fans of clubs disrespecting City players who have passed. I feel that the media jump on every negative opportunity to paint this magnificent club and its people. Well, I'm not having it, our people will behave impeccable on City and pay due repect to Bobby and at the same time Francis just like we did at the Munich remembrance. Next

When the Everton punishment is announced the whataboutery will escalate , Spit will be leading a protest march down to Lancaster Gate (or wherever the Premier league is based)and they will be demanding action for our alleged indiscretions.
Relegation to the Northern Premier league , all our trophies annulled since 1894 and a public hanging for any person who is associated with our club , owners , directors , managers , players , fans, only this will appease the brave down trodden Dippers.

My main concern is that the 115 offensive loses media and opposing fan interest.
Our team, the management and us fans need these off field attacks to keep us motivated.

Give this team a 12 point deduction and watch them destroy all pretenders wanting to take our silverware away. It would be fucking glorious if they tried that and we ended up walking the premier league, they would invent something else to hang round our necks.

I'm not even sure why they're talking about a points deduction for Everton. As far as I know, theirs is a straightforward case of whether they've breached the break-even requirement in respect of PL FFP. Sure, the inference is that they've breached it by miles and they've perhaps taken the piss a bit with their Covid-related loss figures. However, if the panel finds against them then it will be a first offence. I don't know about the PL, but UEFA err on the lenient side for first offences, often imposing financial penalties and squad restrictions as opposed to bans. That's what they did with us in 2014 and what they've done with many other clubs too. There's literally no precedent for docking points from Everton because the PL has never found any club guilty of an FFP breach before. If they have indeed breached it then it ought to be a fine, the size of which should be determined by the size of their losses over and above what is allowable.

Now that Carragher is a tosser.
We should ban him from the Etihad,
along with the journalist/TV presenter that interviewed Pep after the Brighton game for Match of the day. Who asked for Peps comments regarding the death of Bobby Charlton.
Wouldn’t ordinarily be a problem for me,
However,he asked when our club was mourning and celebrating the death of its own legend Franny Lee.
Unless it was massively edited, I didn’t here any questions about that!
Disrespectful to Lee and City.

The Premier League is a mess, it's just a dysfunctional cartel, dominated by the "history" clubs, Arsenal, Utd, Liverpool and Spurs.

These 115 unsubstantiated charges that the cartel slapped on us, they're designed to do two things, to give their client media a stick to beat us with, and to send a signal to the government that the PL is capable of regulating itself.

Given that these history clubs were the main drivers for the European Super League, this is hypocrisy on a grand scale.

Well the stick part works, their client media are always willing to peddle City bingo bullshit, but making the charges stick, not to mention the expense? That's not working out so well.

Given this, if you step back and ponder what our relationship with the Premier league must be like, it can't be a pretty picture.

Poisonous probably puts a gloss on it.

Hence the Premier League and their client media's OTT reaction to those young piss heads and their Charlton chant.

Just remind me what 'History' Spurs have got? Everton, a club that people currently mock, have way more history, both in years playing football and trophies won. Spurs are a joke of a club.
