PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I'm not even sure why they're talking about a points deduction for Everton. As far as I know, theirs is a straightforward case of whether they've breached the break-even requirement in respect of PL FFP. Sure, the inference is that they've breached it by miles and they've perhaps taken the piss a bit with their Covid-related loss figures. However, if the panel finds against them then it will be a first offence. I don't know about the PL, but UEFA err on the lenient side for first offences, often imposing financial penalties and squad restrictions as opposed to bans. That's what they did with us in 2014 and what they've done with many other clubs too. There's literally no precedent for docking points from Everton because the PL has never found any club guilty of an FFP breach before. If they have indeed breached it then it ought to be a fine, the size of which should be determined by the size of their losses over and above what is allowable.
who's the fine payable too ? maybe a suggestion redshirts

The thing with the media, opposing fans and the likes of spitty c*nt is that not a single one of them will have a clue what the "115 charges" are, it just sounds a lot.

This was why the cartel communicated it as such 'it just sounds bad'. But you can't judge seriousness on a number.

An analogy would be like claiming someone with 114 minor driving convictions has to be far worse than someone with 1 murder conviction.

The above doesn't even take into account that most of the 115 charges are actually dissected components of a much much smaller number of broader charges. As above, you have to query the motive behind communicating the larger number of 'symptoms' rather than the overarching root causes

My main concern is that charges against Everton, and the threat by Leeds and another couple of relegated clubs to sue Everton or the PL, means it's more unlikely the PL will be allowed to let the charges against City sit in the corner and gather dust. I'm not suggesting we are guilty but that doesn't mean we won't be found guilty.
The quicker the PL try and rush it through the better as their gathered evidence will be even more shambolic than anticipated

Just remind me what 'History' Spurs have got? Everton, a club that people currently mock, have way more history, both in years playing football and trophies won. Spurs are a joke of a club.
You have to laugh at the whole notion that history only counts as history if you were dominating the game. Its been repeated so often that dumb fucks like o'hara actually think this way and million of opposition fans are the same. Its like saying Notts County have no history or Everton have no history because they haven't won anything in the last 40 years.

I had a book as a kid in the 80's with the history of City and then every game, line up, scorer, attendance etc listed for every season since we began. I spent months and months studying who played, how big our crowds were and what a rich history as a club we have. St Marks, 84k v Stoke, Billy Meredith, getting relegated after winning the league scoring 100 goals, Vienna, Newcastle away and so many more.

As soon as anyone mentions lack of history, its end of debate as there is literally no point talking to them.

The reality of the City case is that it won’t take place until discovery has been provided and all parties have ‘space in their diaries’.

All of City’s executives and the external legal team will suddenly have extremely full diaries for at least the next few years as there is absolutely zero logic in the earlier claims that City are ‘desperate to get this resolved asap’….no matter how solid you believe your case is, court/a tribunal is a crapshoot and so the longer they can stall it out the better.

No doubt they’ll be hoping the Qataris, Bahrainis and Kuwaitis buy up PL clubs and perhaps UAE announces a game changing strategic investment in the UK before diaries can be cleared.

What did the Brighton fans say ?
The usual uninformed nonsense....All these City fans used to be reds. Ground bought for them. All down to money. I put up with it for about 100 metres then give to em with both barrels. I was fizzing and their arses dropped out. Then they became patronising but I was having none of it. They went quiet, mumbling between themselves until they were far enough away and then it was ALBION!
Southern shithouses.

I remember when Chelsea came into the money, I was glad as it upset the rags and Arsenal & pool, more competition, same with Newcastle, can't understand the logic talking shite like we were some tin pot team before the take over...

I woke up this morning and I heard few birds singing. Now I’m confused if should iron my shirt or not if I wear my jacket on top ?
