Correct except that I think the judge was a 'she'.

I don't get this non-cooperation nonsense as we disagreed with what they were asking for and took it to court. We then do cooperate when the judge says we are wrong (to what degree, we'll never know) and they then find us guilty of non-cooperation and fine us. Isn't that using coercion to force us to not take it to court in the first place?

Hope they are not as independent as the Financial Ombudsman's "independent assessors" which i have used twice regarding complaints about insurance companies , on both occasions their "independent assessors" decision favoured the insurance company (it took around 12 months to even consider the cases) and both times i advanced the claims against the insurance companies to the smalll claims courts and won.
My probably cynical view of "independent assessors" is they decide in favour of their paymasters or what is in their best interests and not the merits of the complaint or charge

Spot on, lost a third of my pension last year, waited a year to be told by this ombudsman, that the pension company are right. Might try what you have done, thanks.

My, perhaps irrational, fear is that this case has taken so long to come to fruition that the panel will be under pressure to punish City just so the whole thing doesn’t look like it’s been one big waste of time.

I‘d take a fine and a 5 points point deduction now just to get it out of the way even if I think we are completely innocent.

Sounds stupid but it’s my gut feel.

My view is that unless there's actual evidence of cheating, we should not accept any form of punishment. Otherwise, rival fans especially Liverpool and United fans would never cease screaming "cheats" every time they lose a game against us.

I think it might be taking so long because they've got next to fuck all that will stand.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are seeing if we will "settle out of court" with a slap on the wrist type outcome.

Fuck that,we've done that dance before.

The weird thing about this process is that as far as anyone knows all 115 charges are still on the table. You'd think that there would some sort of update stating that X number have been resolved / dismissed but instead it seems like we won't know anything further until the final outcome is revealed. Even in a court case involving multiple charges very often several are not proceeded with whilst the trial is ongoing.

I am thinking that under no circumstances should we accept any punishment, as the "rules" themselves are bent and wrong and made only to protect the red kartel business. Fuckem.

Agreed. Concede nothing, not one inch. They’ve cooked up these fake charges…it’s their problem to prove them.
