PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Just with regards to your last paragraph, could you please explain the thinking behind your optimism? Please don't take that as a rhetorically dig, I'm just curious as to why this makes you more hopeful.

The government will nip this all in the bud. Everton are the Trojan horse, but I suspect the Premier League are about to have their toys taken away.

This is what will happen if we are found guilty 100%.

No way City accept relegation, too big of a damage to recover from.. could take us 10 years minimum to get back to being a top 4 side let alone league challengers.

We will be on the phone to Perez at Madrid sorting a deal out.

I'm all for it.

Or the government get their act together with this new legislation

What’s interesting is the media appeared to know what penalty Everton were getting weeks ago. Albeit it was touted as a slightly higher total I.e. 12 points. Objectively, Everton and now Chelsea have owned up to wrong doing, in Everton’s case it’s the punishment that is being contested not the offence. Also the immediate deduction seems like they are setting the ground. i would be very surprised if Everton don’t get the points deduction reduced to say five points which will probably make little difference come the end of the season. Of course what about City? The obvious response from the media. I have no idea what stage our case is at. But, it wouldnt surprise me if things go very quiet, then we get hit with a very big points deduction towards the end of the season with immediate effect, thus making sure someone else wins the title and any appeal would take that long no panel would want to reach a conclusion that then takes the trophy from another club.

Nope won't happen we are innocent! If the clubs get vibes they going to just punish us with no actual evidence they'll be screwed up in the courts for life
