PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I understand that, but there is the whole appeal process, which in the end might end up at some sort oof court of appeal. I read that bloody article several times, there is no independent appeal body, there is bloody nothing smelling of independent process. We'll end up appealing to the very same people picked by somebody, who happened also to pick those who might have found find us guilty, and to laugh at all that, those considering our appeal might be the same ones having found Everton guilty. Comrade Xi would not come with this framework.
Judge. Jury. Hangman.

My guess is in order to comply approximately with UEFA FFP all member leagues have to adopt a version, so with the EPL it’s this profit and sustainability rules which since their inception in 2016 City have complied with. The charges against City are historic, tenuous and motivated by malice towards our club.

The French don't have ffp don't think Germany do either!

Any incoming regulator isn’t going to be going back and reviewing old decisions.

The tribunal panel will encompass extremely competent, respected KC’s who can demand an absolute fortune for their services. They’re not going to be putting themselves in position to be leaned on to make any ruling, nor are they going to allow any partisan considerations to influence their decisions.
If, as was reported the panel involves the Arsenal supporter I’d bet his bias would be crushing, just because he’s a KC it doesn’t mean he would look at the case with 100% balance.

Didn't UEFA claim the same? However, CAS found in City's favour on appeal & tore a strip off UEFA.

None of this would have affected us if Swales had stayed. A renamed Club would be competing in mid table of the Northern Vanarama league and our remaining 'wealth' would have been purely generated through gate receipts only.

Is that the sort of game the neanderthals want the game to regress to ?
Probably

I would assume City and their legal team had a meeting in person or via video link once the 10 point deduction punishment for Everton became public. And are currently in the process of looking at a worst case scenario punishment wise, and how to mitigate it player wise and financially, if City are found guilty. Every scenario has to be looked at and evaluated, regrdless if we are found guilty or not.
