Integrity and the legal profession aren’t particularly close bed fellows. Significant parts of the profession work to get people acquitted whom they often know have committed the crime!

The commission is made up of at least 2 KCs the Everton panel included a financial expert as well Like I said I don’t believe the KCs will risk repretation for a kangaroo PL court, why should they?

The premier is following the same path. Football is loaded so hiring lawyers for a few years is a drop in the ocean. Tebas kept spouting the nonsense that everyone knew city was guilty of owner funding but time barred issues did not allow punishment and hence we got away with it.

The clubs in England have ran with this due to pressure and the hope tebas was right. They also need to appease the rags/dips and need to show tough regulations.

Smoke and mirrors. This is a business fight and nothing to do with sport. Competition needs to be destroyed hence the attacks.

Imo we give far too much credit to institutions like the premier league without foundation.
