Victims and vindictive. It’s funny on RAWK. They’re praising Harris and his continued obsession to see us ruined. Hes like some god-like hero to them, infact if the worst happened I envisage a statue outside murderfield.
Someone on there has also predicted a 40 point deduction, and then, through sheer paranoia, says it won’t be dished out until a season is deemed where we wouldn’t win the PL anyway, so it looks like we’ve been punished but everyone saves face.
What a fucking weird bunch of people they are on there.
I like watching (certain) others suffer. It begs the question why would you want to go on there pal?
And our accounts had been audited by world-renowned auditors. CAS have already stated there’s nothing to see here and yet still the fuckwits at the Premier League poke their shitty stick at us.I've tried to avoid this thread, as it just gets my head spinning. However having popped on again it seems as mad as ever.
My understanding of pages in tge distant past is that we are being done for false accounting, fraud which is a criminal offence. So my question is why aren't the police and hmrc all over us, as surely PL have a duty to refer us at the onset of suspicion.
Sarcasm ?They may well do!
It's not unusual for an organisation to expose criminality and then pass their evidence to the police who then prosecute on the basis of the information provided.
No better example of that currently than the post office scandal!
The PL / Masters in full scale retreat unsurprisingly. The Law of Unintended Consequences and all that....
I can understand why some people fear a stitch-up, but it's going to be a long 18 months or so if you start heading down that rabbit hole. That way madness lies. Until we see anything to suggest the contrary, I'm going to assume that the panel will be independent and that we will get a fair hearing. Otherwise, what's the point in any of this? Personally, I think there is far too much at stake, on numerous levels, for the panel just to hand out some arbitrary punishment to us in order to appease certain parties. The fallout from a guilty verdict will be huge, so they'd need cogent evidence that holds up to extensive scrutiny.I do fear it's going to be a stitch up and they'll want to appease the outpouring of anger. So no matter what evidence we provide, and with it being on the balance of probabilities, they'll move to the side of us being guilty of some of it.
It should be a proper independent court with recourse to the English courts. Not some poxy panel who will be influenced by the league, other clubs, their own bias and what's in the media.
