PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I am still confused to what we have been accused of with regards 'failing to disclose accurate financial information and managerial remuneration'. Is it that they think Sheikh Mansour paid the money to Etihad then on to us? Don't Newcastles owners factually own their new shirt sponsor?
Regarding Mancini's contract in Abu Dhabi, didn't we lose £120m that year (and got fined) so why wouldn't we add £1m on to that, it doesn't make sense to hide a million when we lost shit loads in that period.
 
There is a very clear anomaly here and surprisingly or not, NO journalist has reported it. Although it has been touched on here.
A number of charges date back to 2009/10 - 2013 which precludes FFP introduced 2014 and the even later introduction of PSR.
So if the charges pre 2014 are of a financial matter then the issue is not of non compliance with any FFP rules but surely a criminal matter, fraud and the TAX authorities or Police should be investigating not the Premier League.
Think about that for a minute. Case dismissed.

is this a criminal case or a civil case? If it’s criminal the PL can look back as far as they want. If it’s not deemed any law breaking has taken place the limitations act kicks in at the point of discovery which is the Der Spiegal articles. I imagine this is probably what the back and forth with the Premier League is all about.
 
Sorry if this had already been covered, but do we know who is representing each side in the IC panel?
 
It’s funny on RAWK. They’re praising Harris and his continued obsession to see us ruined. Hes like some god-like hero to them, infact if the worst happened I envisage a statue outside murderfield.

Someone on there has also predicted a 40 point deduction, and then, through sheer paranoia, says it won’t be dished out until a season is deemed where we wouldn’t win the PL anyway, so it looks like we’ve been punished but everyone saves face.

What a fucking weird bunch of people they are on there.

They may well do!
It's not unusual for an organisation to expose criminality and then pass their evidence to the police who then prosecute on the basis of the information provided.
No better example of that currently than the post office scandal!
